Robert Donald Ringle Sr.

On December 26, 2018, Robert Donald Ringle Sr., “Bob”, of Crownsville, MD, passed away in his home with family by his side. He is survived by wife Joan; siblings Doreen Ringle, Kathleen Mitchell and husband Richard, Thomas Ringle and wife Julia; sons Robbie and Joe, and daughters Kristen Ketron and Jessi Ruszin; son-in-law’s Rob Ketron and Tom Ruszin; daughter-in-law’s Missy and Jessica Ringle; grandchildren Nathan and Marshall Ketron; Red, Mikayla, Ellie and J.T. Ringle; Kyleigh and Joey Ringle; and, Tucker and Georgia Ruszin; five nephews and four nieces. Bob was born of parents Alice and Alva “Reds” Ringle on July 31, 1937 in San Diego, CA. Bob was a Pearl Harbor survivor as a child and served honorably in the Air Force as a Corpsman from ’56 - 59’, which included deployment to S. Korea. He spent his professional life as an estimator for highway projects and at the Herald Harbor Volunteer Fire Dept. Bob was a founder of the fallen fire fighter’s memorial in Annapolis, and member of Severn Run Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening with his gnomes, cooking, drinking, music and most of all sharing love and joy with his family. A service will be held at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery at 11:30 on January 2, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to MD Fire-Rescue Services Memorial Foundation.
