Ray Albers, 65, of Annapolis and previously of Wexford, Pa., died of a heart attack Feb. 7 while on a cruise ship sailing off the coast of Argentina.

Mr. Albers was born Jan. 19, 1942, in St. Louis and received a master of business administration degree from St. Louis University. He was chief information officer for Target, Circuit City and Dick's Sporting Goods before retiring.

He enjoyed reading and traveling.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret "Meg" Rhian, whom he married March 10, 1979; three sons, Erik Albers of St. Louis, Adam Albers of Glen Burnie and Elliott Albers of Annapolis; one brother, Bob Albers of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
