Obituary

Princert E. "Paul" Chapman, 75, of Odenton for one year and previously of Edgewater, died of lung cancer May 23 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 14, 1933, in Denver, Colo., to the late Princert E. and Ruth Holland Chapman. He was raised in Philadelphia, Pa.

He retired as an Air Force Senior Master Sgt. in 1971, after more than 20 years of service. Following his military career, he was a computer analyst for PRC and Maxim, serving P.G. County government.

He was an active player in the Senior Olympic Games, a member of the Bowie Interfaith softball league and the VFW in Mayo, and he enjoyed softball, volleyball, sports and crossword puzzles.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Cullember-Chapman; one son, Paul Chapman of Morgantown, W.Va.; two daughters, Paulette Chapman of Fairfax, Va. and Joyce Onken of Gambrills; and four grandchildren, Emily and Joseph Chapman, Allison Bauernfeind and Samantha Onken.
