Obituary

Kathleen Hamilton Tucker Moeller, 88, of Tyler, Texas, and previously of Onancock, Va., and Glen Burnie, died of natural causes Dec. 17 at Oakbrook Health Care Center in Whitehouse, Texas, after a long illness.

Mrs. Moeller was born April 9, 1918, and reared in Galesville and graduated in 1935 from Southern High School when it was in Owensville. She worked at the Anne Arundel County Public Library in Glen Burnie.

She was a member of Naomi Makemie Presbyterian Church in Onancock where she was chairman of her church circle for more than 20 years, a fund- raiser and church officer. She also enjoyed reading, card playing and fishing.

In 1940, she married John Prentice Moeller, who died in 1979. They raised their four children in Glen Burnie and later moved to Knoxville, Tenn., and then Onancock in 1964. While in declining health, she moved to Tyler in 2002.

Surviving are three sons, John Hamilton Moeller of Joppatown, Gary Edward Moeller of Frederick and Leonard Miles Moeller of Downingtown, Pa.; one daughter, Marcia Olivia Daughtrey of Tyler; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Galesville United Methodist Church, 4825 Church Lane, Galesville. Burial will be in the Quaker Burying Ground, Galesville Road and Muddy Creek Road, Galesville. Arrangements are by Hardesty Funeral Home in Galesville.
