Obituary

Annapolis- Patrick Shellem, 73, of Riva passed away on April 12, 2018, in Riva, MD. He was born on August 23, 1944, in Media, PA, to the late John Joseph and Amy Kathleen (Stevens) of Annapolis.

Pat was known for his gardening, and his love for classic movies, ice skating, water skiing, and boating on his Chris Craft. Pat was a former captain for several boats including, but not limited to the Eager Miss for William Tutton Jr, which was a restaurant tour out of Baltimore and Lady Lynn for Matthew Hubbin also out of Baltimore.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Susan (Jenkins); sister, Kathy Milligan. He is survived by sons: John and Brent of Annapolis; uncle, Francis and his wife, Beverly of Arden; cousins, James and his wife, Kim, of St. Michael’s and Mike Costello of Hawaii; grandchildren: Sophia, Ethan, Travis, Chase, Leland, and his best companion, Shadow (Black Labrador).

A funeral service will be held for Pat at Hardesty Funeral Home in Annapolis, on Thursday, April 19, 1pm with visitation on Wednesday, April 18, 2-4 and 6-8. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery
