Obituary

Patricia “Patti” Engelberth, a 30 year resident of Annapolis, MD, a retired Day Care Provider and the neighborhood Mom, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at the age of 59 of natural causes.
Patti is survived by her husband, Kurt Engelberth; her children, April Engelberth and Corinna Goloski; her two beautiful grandchildren, Bradley and Emma Goloski; her brothers, Ronald Powell, Robert Powell, and Reggie Powell; her son in law; Thomas Goloski; and family dog, Koda.
Patti was born on the first day of winter in Neptune, NJ on December 21st, 1957. She was a committed volunteer to her neighborhood of Revell Downs and was a member of the neighborhood association for many years. Patti became the president of the association and enjoyed organizing the annual Easer Egg Hunt, neighborhood walks, and cleans. She was awarded for Outstanding Volunteer Work in Anne Arundel County from, County Executive, Janet S. Owens.
Her talents were many; she was an excellent crafter, gardener, and decorator. She had a keen eye and was able to turn a thrift store find into something that looked like it came from Nordstrom. She was also very fashionable and kept up with the latest trends. She loved her shows, watching movies, nature, playing with her grandchildren, shopping with her daughters, and baking with her family. She is a beloved wife, mother, sister and “Nana” to her two beautiful grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. She will be greatly missed and we love her.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, December 7 at 11:30 AM at Hardesty Funeral Home, 12 Ridgely Avenue, Annapolis. Interment will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
