Obituary

James William "Jim" Asquith Sr., 48, a 19-year resident of Stevensville and previously of Annapolis, died after a long illness Dec. 10 at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.

Mr. Asquith was born Feb. 10, 1959, in Annapolis to the late Willis and Mary Tucker, and graduated from Annapolis High School.

He was a self-employed brick mason.

Mr. Asquith enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, gambling, and his '67 Chevy II.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Jo Asquith; three sons, Cory and James Asquith Jr. of Stevensville and David K. Palmer of Greenville, N.C.; three brothers, Ronald and Robert Asquith of Annapolis and Joseph Asquith of Glen Burnie; two sisters, Debbie Callahan of Centreville and Jean Rose of Chincoteague; and his grandmother, Jeannette Quillen of Lothian.
