Obituary

Catherine Woodhouse Mack, 62, of Annapolis, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

Catherine was born July 24, 1954, in Brookline, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Claire and Robert Woodhouse. On July 23, 1994, she married Robert J. Mack, who survives her.

Catherine graduated from the Katherine Gibbs School and from Bentley University with a degree in Business and Accounting.

During her exceptionally successful business career, Catherine was instrumental in managing the installation of the first fiber optic cable throughout Western Europe. One of her many achievements was that at age 35, she was the youngest Director of Human Resources for a Fortune 50 company. Her last business position was as the personal assistant to a founder of Nina Footwear and to his wife after his passing.

Catherine is survived by her husband Bob of Annapolis; her sponsor daughter Mor Rosenberg of San Diego, California; her brother Robert Woodhouse, Jr., sister-in-law Beverly, nephews Kevin and Brad, and nieces Julia and Britany in Massachusetts; her uncle Ron Pac and his wife Joan of North Ft. Myers, Florida; her sister-in-law Audrey Lange, niece Cynthia Lange Mattson and her husband Dennis of Rye, Long Island; and her great nephew Michael Koschitz of Farmingdale, Long Island.

A Catholic funeral mass will be held on April 22, at 11:00 A.M., at St. Mary's Church at 109 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, Maryland. Interment will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery on Northwest Street in Annapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Protect Our Defenders, 20 Park Road, Suite E, Burlingame, CA, 94010.
